Be Open-Minded When Choosing Your Dress

“If it wasn’t for the teams advice and recommending me to try on the Kelly gown, I would have never have tried it on. Sophie and the team have a really good eye for what will suit you!”

 How did he propose?

New Years Day, we went for a morning walk on Wategoes beach to ‘check the surf’. All of our family was waiting for us.

What was your vision for your wedding day?

One big fun party!

Where did you look for your wedding inspiration?

Mostly Instagram. My sister got her wedding dress from Helen Rodrigues Bridal and I loved that style and designer, so Helen Rodrigues was the place to go.

What drew you to your gown from Luxe Bridal Samples?

The amazing detail of each pearl coupled with the lace underneath. It was elegant, but flattering also.

What was your wedding planning journey like for you? How far out did you start planning?

12 months in advance. The wedding planning team at The Farm made the journey a breeze.

What was the biggest decision you had to make?

Definitely the dress and the venue.

What was the highlight of your wedding day for you?

The dance floor! We had the best band, and there is something about all of your loved ones in the one place that is so special!

Is there anything you would do differently?

Not a thing!  I wish I put the band up on the stage because they were just so good.

Is there any advice you would give other #LuxeBride’s?

Be open-minded when choosing your dress. The dress I ended up choosing was nothing like what I thought suited me or what I had saved on Instagram. Try on lots of different types of dresses.
