How did you and your husband meet?

Our love story began in Sydney, over some flirtatious banter and sharing of South East Asian food and spicy margaritas. After discovering our shared values of family, loyalty, friendship, love and respect, we knew we each had the qualities we had both been looking for in a life partner. The magic started to fly and the rest is history.

How did he propose?

While on holiday on the Central Coast at Terrigal, Nige took myself, Baxter and Yogi for a long late afternoon beach stroll. We came across the rocky landmark - The Skillion - where to my surprise Nige dropped to one knee and asked me to be his wife (along with the most impressive and exquisite diamond ring.) After a few tears of happiness and getting over the shock I absolutely said yes!

What was your vision for your wedding day?

We chose words that described the vision we wanted for our big day - beach, elegant, relaxed, romantic, and chic, then found the appropriate venue to suit our needs.

What drew you to your gown from Luxe Bridal Samples?

What was your wedding planning journey like for you? How far out did you start planning?

Planning was pretty stress free because the venue was amazing and suppliers were accommodating. What wasn’t enjoyable was everything covid related - international guests and border closures as well as not having the time to get a dress custom made because I had just had a baby.

What was the biggest decision you had to make?

Whether to go ahead without Nigel’s family due to Covid restrictions and border closures in QLD

What was the highlight of your wedding day for you?

Having our closest friends and family experiencing the love we share for each other and having everyone we love come together.

Is there any advice you would give to other #LuxeBride’s?

Don’t be discouraged when trying on dresses. You’ll know as soon as you put the one on - go with your gut.
